Marketing manager Karen Bucher FCII has been made assistant vice president, marketing.

Assistant underwriter, aviation, Janet Deer Osborne ACII, has been promoted to underwriter aviation.

ACE Insurance president Dominic Frederico commented: "The consistent commitment, dedication and resulting success that both Karen and Janet bring to their jobs is admirable and should be acknowledged and rewarded.

Karen Bucher joined ACE a year ago August from the Bank of Bermuda, after four years at BF&M Insurance Co. Ltd. and 11 years with a UK insurer.

Janet Deer Osborne has worked in the Bermuda insurance sector since 1986 and was senior underwriter/supervisor at Argus Insurance, before working at ACE Insurance.
