Bank of Bermuda shares gained 50 cents on the Bermuda Stock Exchange yesterday to close at $30.50 while BELCO Holdings shares also rose $2 to $22.25.

Overall the BSX Index edged up 21.03 points, closing at 1,444.27 on a volume of 13,529 shares worth $339,770 and 10,000 US shares worth $40,000.
