Bermuda will host a five-day conference this May on the subject of captive reinsurance.

ICAP 2000, The International Captives Congress, will kick off on May 15 at The Fairmont Southampton Princess Hotel and feature three solid days of speakers, workshops and networking opportunities before wrapping up at noon on May 19.

It will mark the fourth time Bermuda has hosted the annual captive conference which is organised by IBC USA Conferences Inc.

The event is billed as "the most comprehensive captives event in the industry, custom-designed to serve the demanding professional educational needs of risk managers worldwide''.

Fifty-two of the industry's leading speakers will share their knowledge and expertise during the course of the conference which will also host more than 30 advanced, intermediate and introductory conference sessions.

They will also be able to learn from a series of case studies and network with industry peers, speakers and government officials from around the globe.

And a keynote presentation will be given by David Zach, noted futurist and author of the best selling book Zachronyms.
