Meridian House sold for $1.5m
has been sold for $1.5 million.
The building has been bought by a company called Y2K-6 Ltd, which was set up in May by Alexander Green and Andrew Green through the Pembroke Company.
Meridian House housed the offices of Jones Waddington for the past 18 years.
The two-storied building has 1,700 square feet on each level with ample parking at the rear and a small garden at the front. The original building dates back 250 years and lies on the corner of Dundonald Street and Brunswick Street.
Before the realtors took it over, the premises had been used as a family home, and the company said it was often visited by families who had lived there.
Ian Waddington, owner of Jones Waddington, yesterday confirmed the building had been sold to the company for the bid price and said the final papers will be signed on Friday.
