Mr. Charles Hays will join Mid Ocean on November 1, 1993 as part of its senior mangement team.

Mr. Hays, aged 47, has held various positions with Marsh & McLennan Companies, the most recent being chief financial and administrative officer of insurance brokerage firm Marsh & McLennan, Inc.

Previously, he worked for JP Morgan in the mergers and acquisitions and international departments.

President and chief executive officer of Mid Ocean Mr. Michael Butt said: "Mr. Hays has had extensive global experience in the financial, insurance and reinsurance areas with Marsh & McLennan and JP Morgan.'' Mid Ocean, through its subsidiary Mid Ocean Re, provides property catastrophe reinsurance to insurers worldwide.
