David Milroy president of Asia Global Crossing -- Asia Pacific.

Milroy was previously senior vice president, network development for Bermuda-based Global Crossing Ltd.

In his new role, Milroy is responsible for all Asia Global Crossing activities in Asia, excluding Japan.

In addition, Milroy has senior management responsibility for the recently formed Hutchison Global Crossing joint venture.

As Asia Global Crossing's top executive for the Asia Pacific region, Milroy will be based in Hong Kong.

Asia Global Crossing, a joint venture between Global Crossing, Microsoft Corp., and Softbank Corp., is building and will operate a broadband global network through a combination of high-capacity city rings, and land and undersea fiber optic cables.
