Gateway revamps store

Gateway Systems Ltd is in the process of transforming its computer retail shop into a technology centre.

The newly-revamped store, called G-Wiz, in Queen Street will stock the latest technology for the home or business from web-based entertainment and home theatre integration to “cool” gadgets.

Bang and Olufsen (B&O), which was introduced to the Island last year, has expanded to conform to the manufacturer’s concept of a “store within in store”.

The demonstration area will now include both the BeoSound 9000 and the new BeoSound 5 with the ability to download all of your music from a PC or Mace and let the system chose the songs from your library of tunes.

Customers will also be able to purchase Apple products with the first batch of iPad2 and iPods arriving in store this week.

Gateway, which has a new in-store technical team, also plans to introduce some other technology solutions to the store in the next few months which can be viewed at www.G-Wiz.bm
