Networking event

Entrepreneurs will be able to get up to speed on the latest developments in their fields and meet new faces at the Bermuda Small Business Development Corporation's (BSBDC) second annual networking event.

The event, which takes place at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess hotel on Thursday August 25 between 5pm and 8.30pm, will feature international entrepreneur Magnus Greaves - one of Black Enterprise magazine's top 40 business people under 40.

Mr Greaves is also the founder of 100 Entrepreneurs, a non-profit foundation to help young entrepreneurs in disadvantaged communities.

Among the sectors covered at the event will be financial services, Government, insurance/pension, legal, marketing/advertising, business management and information technology.

Erica Smith, director of the BSBDC, said: “This networking event will connect entrepreneurs and small businesses to each other and to professional service providers that will support and grow their businesses and business ideas.”

Ms Smith said the BSBDC was looking for financial service providers, banks, government agencies, insurance providers, lawyers, public relations, media companies and more to take part in the event.

Refreshments and cocktails will be served at the event.
