Mello named GM at Coldwell Banker

Coldwell Banker Bermuda Realty has named Kendra Mello as general manager as part of an internal restructuring of the company.President and CEO of the real estate company, Brian Madeiros, will be focusing on opening up new business.Mrs Mello told The Royal Gazette Mr Madeiros will be “broadening his commitment to the community and new business opportunities”.“In this challenging economic climate, our strategy is one that looks to opportunities for growth and diversification,” she said.Mrs Mello has held the positions of marketing manager and corporate services manager with responsibility for public relations; web development and strategic planning for Bermuda Realty, where she has worked for the past 15 years.“Trading since 2000 as Coldwell Banker Bermuda Realty in the real estate arena the Company has undergone many changes in the past decade and also offers supporting services in land surveying; residential and commercial property management; and valuations under the name of Bermuda Realty,” Mrs Mello said.Mr Madeiros, who will continue to be involved with the selling of luxury homes, said: “The company has a tradition of innovation which has resulted in a variety of service offerings that require co-ordination in order to leverage our position in the market.“The combined corporate team of Kendra Mello and Amy Adderley (as Financial Controller) along with operational managers Susan Thompson and Paul Matthews, gives us the strength and substance to continue to offer the best real estate services in Bermuda.”Coldwell Banker Bermuda Realty is Bermudian owned and employs 48 people.The company has received numerous global accolades for its commitment to training and the performance of its real estate agents a number of whom are ranked in the top 10 percent of the Coldwell Banker network worldwide.
