BAS announces new project manager

Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd. (BAS) has a new project manager — mechanical engineer George Skinner, who started in the position on Monday.

Mr Skinner’s role will be to offer “multi-disciplined solutions” for their commercial clients, drawing on the BAS subsidiaries, as well as maintaining management oversight over heating, ventilation and air conditioning subsidiary Eff-Tech, according to a press release announcing the change.

The press release also described Mr. Skinner as a mechanical contractor with over 40 years of varied experience with a particular emphasis on heating, ventilation and air conditioning.

BAS CEO Ken Joaquin, said: “As BAS evolves with its umbrella of subsidiaries into a full-service commercial solution company, having someone with the industry knowledge and experience that George brings to the table is quintessential. George brings a level of depth to our team that will be difficult to find anywhere else.

“We could not be more pleased with the fact that George has joined us as the newest member of the BAS executive team.”
