CellOne to offer home internet service

Telecoms firm CellOne has launched its own internet service.

The company is offering speeds of between 2Mbps to 25Mpbs — with one month free and no contract.

And the firm said that existing CellOne customers stood to save between $140 and $640 in the first year if internet is included with any postpaid mobile service.

CellOne CEO Frank Amaral said: “It's an exciting time for us to be providing home internet service to the people of Bermuda.

“Our competitive pricing and award-winning customer service will now be extended in these new internet service (ISP) provider offerings.

“Our customers will see an immediate saving when paring their current postpaid service with our new ISP plans.

“We know customers will enjoy the benefits of getting multiple telecommunications services with one company.”

The company is also offering a special bonus offer for CellOne customers subscribing to a postpaid smartphone service — an additional 1GB of data for $15.
