International property firm’s executive director departs

The executive director of a Bermuda-based international property firm has quit his post.

Paul Simpson has left Delta International Property Holdings, although he will continue to act in an advisory capacity for the company.

Delta also announced that lawyer and tax expert Peter Todd has been appointed to the firm as an independent non-executive director.

Mr Todd qualified as an attorney and later became a senior tax manager at financial services firm Arthur Anderson & Associates in Johannesburg, South Africa.

He worked as a tax partner at another firm before setting up Osiris International Trustees Ltd and Drake Fund Advisors in the British Virgin Isles in 2000.

A spokesman for Delta added: “He was a non-executive director of Redefine International Ltd from initial listing for some nine years and has otherwise been involved in the property industry for many years.

“We welcome Peter to the board where his experience will add tremendous value.”
