An excellence award has been presented to Bermuda Commercial Bank (BCB) for the “exceptional quality of payment messages” to Deutsche Bank’s Global Transaction Banking Operations unit for payments in euros during the 2014 fiscal year.

Last year, BCB processed approximately $30 billion in total payments and funds transfers. Deutsche Bank is BCB’s key correspondent bank, handling the Bank’s US dollar, British sterling and euro payments and transfers.

Deutsche Bank awarded BCB with an Award of Excellence, in recognition of the BCB achieving a near-zero error rate in euro payments and transfers, among the lowest of all Deutsche Bank clients.

In New York, the BCB was presented with the Deutsche Bank 2014 EURO STP (“straight through processing”) Excellence Award.
