Offshore fiduciary and administration firm Estera has taken on seven summer interns.

Estera, formerly part of law firm Appleby, said the scheme was designed to attract Bermuda’s best and introduce them to the world of business.

A spokeswoman said: “Each student will get a first-hand glimpse into the world of corporate and trust administration as well as gain a greater understanding of the roles and types of careers at Estera.

“Additionally, the students will participate in developing workshops designed to enhance their networking, communication and interviewing skills.

“They will also have the opportunity to network with various senior managers within the company in a student networking event.”

The seven students are Lateefah Caines, who is studying at Clark Atlanta University; Myrtia Eberly, University of Bedfordshire; Kelsey Pearman, Ryerson University; Chelsea Rodrigues, City University, London; Brandon Sousa, Kings University at the University of Western Ontario; Makeba Tucker, Saint Mary’s University; and Kayla Virgil-Darrell, St John’s University.
