Business accelerator expects big response

Ignite Bermuda today announced that applications are now being accepted for their January 2020 business accelerator programme.

Applications can be submitted online via www.ignitebermuda.com until November 11.

It is expected the programme will draw another large response if their first call for applications is anything to go by. Ignite Bermuda continues to seek entrepreneurs from across Bermuda with a variety of ideas encompassing all sectors, from start-ups to small businesses looking to scale and grow in markets outside Bermuda.

Creating jobs and diversity is part of Ignite's mission, so Bermuda's entrepreneurs are encouraged to bring their best forward and prepare to accelerate.

“We were really impressed at the level of entrepreneurial talent and the success of the first cohort,” Sean Reel, executive director of Ignite Bermuda, said, “We will continue to build a stronger entrepreneurial ecosystem for Bermuda. Our first cohort of entrepreneurs, have had access to world-class advisers and mentors in addition to our entrepreneurship curriculum. All the entrepreneurs have developed professionally as well as personally. They have developed a real sense of community and a collaborative working environment. The entrepreneurs truly form a support network for each other, celebrating their highs and lows together.”

Applications will close on November 11.
