Lawyers T’Deana Spencer and Teressa Macbeth have joined law firm MJM Ltd.Bermudian Ms Spencer joins the firm’s dispute resolution team, while Ms Macbeth joins the corporate and finance team.Ms Spencer completed her pupillage and was called to the Bar in 2019. An associate, the firm said her practice will encompass a broad range of civil and commercial litigation matters. She said: “I’m extremely excited to join MJM’s dispute resolution team. As a new advocate, I am ready to embrace this opportunity to enhance my legal skills in a challenging environment under the direction of MJM’s experienced team of lawyers.” Jennifer Haworth, director in the dispute resolution team, said: “We are pleased to welcome T’Deana to the firm. She is a hardworking, young Bermudian and we are looking forward to supporting her as she develops her legal career.”Ms Macbeth joins the firm as a senior associate, having worked previously in Bermuda. MJM said she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in corporate finance and banking, including cross border project financing and asset backed financing within the shipping sector.
