The pending Personal Information Protection Act will have strict procedures for how personal information is handled, when it comes online. Not adhering to the rules, even unknowingly, could have serious consequences. To help small and midsize organisations to prepare, TLC Group Solutions is holding a course Practical Steps for Data Security Preparation and Protection. “The course adopts a fun and participatory learning approach to help you understand how to immediately apply privacy activities in your work without having any previous knowledge or training,” TLC said. Course highlights will include simple explanations of privacy principles in an easy-to-understand language, without the use of high-level legal and technical jargon.There will be role play, management games and simulations to help you get familiar with the practical application of privacy activities.
