Appleby hires two compliance officers
The Bermuda office of international law firm Appleby has bolstered its compliance team with the hiring of two Bermudians who are specialists in the area.
Rebecca Holloway and Joy Martin have joined the firm as compliance officers.
Ms Holloway is a certified anti-money laundering specialist, and a certified financial crime specialist. She graduated from Bristol University with a bachelor of arts degree in French and Spanish.
Prior to joining Appleby, she served as a compliance specialist at another law firm in Bermuda.
Ms Hollaway said: “I am excited to join Appleby and to be working with such a wonderful team.”
Ms Martin is a certified anti-money laundering specialist. She graduated from St Mary's University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in accounting.
Prior to joining Appleby, she served as a compliance analyst at a local bank.
Ms Martin said: “I am excited to join Appleby's compliance team and I am looking forward to increasing my knowledge and expertise in the legal sector.”
