Apex appoints former BDA CEO Webber
Apex Group Ltd has appointed Ross Webber as its managing director in Bermuda.
Mr Webber, a Bermudian, is a former chief executive officer of the Bermuda Business Development Agency, and spent five years on the BDA board.
Most recently, he was principal of management consultancy BDSbermuda, and a director of wealth management firm Peregrine & Black Limited.
Apex is a global financial services provider that was established in 2003, in Bermuda, and has since grown to 45 offices worldwide, “offering a single-source solution to the market across $730 billion in assets under administration”.
Mr Webber is based in Bermuda and reports to Georges Archibald, head of Apex Americas and working alongside Graham MacDonald, director of operations, for the Bermuda office.

Mr Webber has more than 25 years of experience in financial and professional services including a decade as global head of marketing and business development for Conyers Dill & Pearman. Prior to this, he held marketing and excess liability insurance underwriting roles with Ace and Starr Excess.
