JASON ON LOAN -- The science collection at the Youth Library on Church Street in Hamilton yesterday received a gift of about 25 text books from the Jason Project. From left, Richard Bassett of Cable and Wireless, Florance Maxwell of the Youth Library, and Dr. Fred Lipshultz of the Bermuda Biological Station for Research were on hand for a small celebration. Dr. Lipshultz told The Royal Gazette most of the books were new, or barely used, and deal with past and present Jason Project subjects. Works on the culture and geology of Iceland and Yellowstone, as well as native American cultures, were included in the collection.
