Gourmet magazine chef pays visit
well-known Gourmet Food Magazine offices is the best job executive chef Sara Moulton has ever had. For the past 11 years Mrs. Moulton has been helping to woe advertisers looking at the magazine by preparing gourmet meals. Last week she, along with world-renowned chef Anton Mosimann arrived in Bermuda for Mr.
Mosimann's annual evening of gourmet food. He has been the food consultant for Horizons Ltd. for the last two years, and he has revisited the groups four properties every few months to assist in the training of staff and the development and preparation of the unique style of gourmet cuisine featured at the properties. The highlight of each Mosimann visit is a very special evening of food and wine at one of the resorts -- this year it was Waterloo House -- for locals and visitors. The black tie event featured main dishes by Mr.
Mosimann and hors d'oeuvres by Mrs. Moulton which included Thai style steamed dumplings and oven baked potato chips stuffed with feta and oregano.
Mrs. Moulton said Bermuda was "really a likely place for Gourmet subscribers to go because it's so civilised and beautiful''.
She added that the magazine had frequently come to Bermuda to work. Mrs.
Moulton is also responsible for helping to develop projects for the magazine.
