Parliament's birthday commemorated by limited edition poster
A limited edition poster has been produced to commemorate the 375th anniversary of Bermuda's Parliament, which was celebrated this summer.
The poster of the Sessions House was reproduced from a watercolour commissioned by Government and painted by Bermudian artist Mr. Christopher Marson.
Mr. Marson, 47, holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Manitoba and has done workshops with Mr. Christopher Schink, Mr. Tom Coates, Mr. Carl Schmaltz, and Mr. Mel Stabin.
A founding member of the Masterworks Foundation, he is also a member of the Bermuda Society of Arts, the Bermuda Art Centre, and the American Society of Marine Artists.
Mr. Marson, a graphic designer at Government Information Services, has numerous awards and exhibitions to his credit.
The poster is a limited edition of 375 signed copies and is available at Windjammer Gallery, the Art Centre at Dockyard and A.S. Cooper & Sons.
