As of October 1, the WRC will open its doors on 58 Reid Street above the Music Box.

The WRC is also preparing for Domestic Violence awareness month which begins on the same day.

There will be a candlelight vigil at 7 p.m. at Victoria Park.

Dancers for Christ Ministry from the Richard Allen AME church will perform alongside Gita Blakeney and Shine Hayward.

There will also be a number of speakers addressing the issue of domestic violence.

A table will be set up on October 12 with literature on domestic violence in the Washington Mall.
