Ann De Silva of Southampton as the 1995 Dudley and Deborah Butterfield Scholarship recipient.

A 1994 First Honours graduate of Warwick Academy, Miss De Silva also successfully completed a post graduate year at Saltus Grammar School this year.

Fluent in English, French and Portuguese, Miss De Silva will this month enter McGill University where she will focus on psychology and sociology in pursuit of a Bachelor of Arts Degree.

A recipient of the Teen Award for Leadership in 1994, Miss De Silva has taken an active interest in the community and has held several leadership positions.

She was head girl at Warwick Academy and deputy head girl at Saltus.

Miss De Silva has also had a keen involvement in sports and appeared in the Mid-Ocean News for winning a scholar athlete award. She particularly enjoys field hockey, volleyball, swimming and running.
