Memorial Hospital to Johns Hopkins University Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, where he is expected to undergo quadruple bypass surgery.

Mr. Calhoun, in the company of his wife and mother, checked into Johns Hopkins surgical wing on Friday.

Nursing staff last night told The Royal Gazette Mr. Calhoun "was doing okay,'' and was still undergoing tests. However he had not yet consented to the surgery, they indicated. Mr. Calhoun took ill earlier this month with a suspected heart attack.
