sand to help build up the family and community spirit.
The Institute of Bermuda Architects will hold its first annual sandcastle competition at Horseshoe Bay, Southampton on Saturday.
Children and their families will be able to take part in the event by paying a $5 entry fee. Proceeds will go toward the Institute's scholarship.
The categories will be individual, children 12 years old and under, and families.
Members of the Institute of Bermuda Architects Council will begin judging the entries at 4 p.m.
In case of inclement weather the competition will be Sunday.
