Steve Marklew, senior marketing manager at the bank, said for the fifth year a series of free, Sunday outdoor concerts will be held at Victoria Park.

And this year there will be a total of eight concerts beginning on April 13 with a gospel concert titled "In The Spirit''.

Mr. Marklew said "Music Collage'' will be held on May 11 while a "City Centennial Celebration'' will be held on June 22.

"Soulful Rock and Roll'' will be staged on July 13, "Island Flavours'' on August 10 and "Jazz It Up'' on September 14.

A youth talent tribute will be held on October 5 and a special Christmas concert, entitled Christmas Spirit, will be staged on December 7.

Bank of Butterfield Executive Vice President of Group Business Development, Stephen Kempe, said: "These concerts cover a wide variety of musical talents and interests. Although the 1997 concerts will feature both local and international talent, we will continue the emphasis on local talent recruitment.''
