Bermuda Junior Chamber president Bill Ingham said the parade had been scheduled for Sunday evening.

But he said holiday commitments clashed for many marchers and two groups called off.

Mr. Ingham added: "We just don't have enough participation to warrant a full parade.'' But he said: "We are going to have it next year -- and we have scheduled our Santa Claus parade for November 30 with a rain date of December 7.''
