In a two-page statement, Opposition Leader Jennifer Smith said: "Over the years, Party members have volunteered their time and provided the funds to keep the Party going.

"Now as the party prepares to assume the leadership, it is time to organise the financial and administrative tools necessary for this new role.

"...Our plan is to establish an election campaign fund and acquire the communication and information tools necessary to perform as an efficient and effective voice for the people of Bermuda.''
