Premier Gordon to host first seniors' tea
Premier Pamela Gordon will be hosting the Annual Senior Citizens Tea for the first time on June 1.
The Tea will take place in the Botanical Gardens in front of the Premier's official residence, Camden, from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m.
Entertainment will be provided by the singing group The Diamonds in the Rough and the Bermuda Regiment Band.
In an effort to avoid traffic chaos, vehicles entering the Botanical Gardens to drop off or collect seniors must enter through the North gate (the Berry Hill entrance) and exit via the South Gate onto South Shore Road.
There will be a special bus service operating.
Buses will depart from Somerset bus station at 1:45 p.m., from Town Square, St. George's at 1:45 p.m. and from the Hamilton bus station at 2:15 p.m.
For further information contact Alvin Harvey on 292-5501.
