The guest speaker of the evening was chief executive officer of the National Drug Commission Eugenie Simmons and the guest of honour was Rick Miller, immediate past governor of the New England district of Kiwanis International.

During the banquet the following were installed as presidents for the ensuing year: Norrell Hull for Hamilton Kiwanis Club, Evadne Caesar for the St.

George's Kiwanis Club, and Geoffrey Butler-Durrant for the Sandys Kiwanis Club.

*** Members of Meals on Wheels will officially open their new kitchen in Paget today.

The organisation will also be celebrating its twenty-first anniversary. Open house will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and the ribbon cutting will be at 6 p.m.
