Dr. Ruth Mary Bean recently received an honourary doctorate in Christian Life Counselling from the Cornerstone Christian University on Olrando, Florida.

Dr. Bean received the honour during the University's Commencement Exercises on December 18, 2009.

The Commencement was attended by her husband Steve Bean, Ruby O.S. Smith, Dennis Bean and the Rev. Karon York.

Also present were Apostle Michael Leach from the Flames of FIre Ministry in Atlanta Georgia, the Rev. Dr. Belinda Robins of New Dimensions Church and Minister Donna Paton.

Dr.. Bean particuarly thanked Bishop Neville Smith of Radnor Road Christian Fellowship for his support.
