Free reusable car trash bags are available at the Island's service stations this week from Keep Bermuda Beautiful (KBB).

The bags are part of the department of Works & Engineering's recycling week campaign.

"We are grateful to Richard Simon of Island Advertising Specialties for sponsoring the bags," said Richard Lathan, executive director of KBB.

"And we appreciate the cooperation of the service stations for helping us distribute them."

Works & Engineering is using this week to raise awareness about the importance of recycling.

The Department of Waste Management can be contacted for further information about recycling.

The public is encouraged to get their car bags early as there is a limited supply.

KBB will be finishing the week with its monthly clean up. The venue will be the Scenic Heights Railway Trail next Saturday starting at 9 a.m.
