Trust seeks younger members at happy hour
The Bermuda National Trust is to hoping to attract new members with a happy hour aimed specifically at younger residents.
The second annual Ultimate Unwind membership drive takes place at Waterville, the Trust’s Pomander Road headquarters, tonight.
“Last year’s event was a huge success and brought over 50 new memberships to the Trust helping to strengthen our voice in protecting and preserving Bermuda’s built heritage and open spaces,” said event co-ordinator Deanne Hart.
A $20 admission fee includes one free drink for members. Persons can sign up for an introductory individual membership for an additional $10, and receive a free drink.
Those who attend will also have the opportunity to win a basket of fabulous prizes courtesy of several sponsors.
The event runs from 5.30pm to 8.30pm.
