Bermuda National Gallery Eyes on the World in partnership with the Alexia Foundation, Women Artists in the Bermuda National Gallery Collection, Impressions of Bermuda: The David L White Gift to the BNG, and Meredith Andrews: Portraits of Power. The gallery is also pleased to partner with the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum & Zoo with this youth art exhibition featuring the photography created by students in Youth Camera Action, a subsidised photography programme for middle school youth ages 11 to 14. The Windjammer II Gallery ‘Bermuda Spring’ is a new exhibit from April 4 to 18, featuring works from artists like Stephen Card, Geralyn Counsell, Rhona Emmerson, Molly Godet, Sheilagh Head, Christina Hutchings, John Kaufmann, Lynn Morrell, Sharon Wilson, Charles Zuill and Katherine Zuill. There will be an opening reception on Thursday, April 4 from 5.30pm until 7pm. The gallery is open Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm and Saturday and Sunday 12pm to 5pm. Bermuda Arts Centre at Dockyard Art of Craft IV until April 5 and Spring Open from April 7 to May 3. The centre’s winter hours are in effect. Open from 11am to 4pm daily, but closed on Mondays. St George’s Historical Society will be hosting the Jubilee Exhibit, which explores Bermuda’s fascination with British Royalty from 1883 to 1953. The exhibit showcases Royal memorabilia from the personal collections of the Society’s members. Located on the corner of Duke of Kent Street & Featherbed Alley, St George’s. Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art Valerie Brown Exhibit is currently displaying her oil paintings in the Rick Faries Gallery, until April 10. The museum has also released its 25th anniversary book, available at Brown & Co for $125 (with members receiving a ten percent discount). Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute Two floors of interactive exhibits about the ocean surrounding Bermuda. Great for all ages.
