A black and tan chequered purse containing a silver Olympus digital camera, cell phone, personal items and cash, were stolen from a Southampton guesthouse.

The complainants, who are tourists, told Police, that sometime between 12.05 a.m. and 8 a.m. on Thursday, someone gained entry to their room.

And a quantity of cash was also stolen from another room at the same guest property that morning.

The victims were also tourists and stated sometime between 11.45 p.m. on Wednesday and 7 a.m. on Thursday, a culprit gained entry to their room.

Inquiries into both incidents are underway.
