A bill to ensure all war veterans get their fair pensions and benefits, regardless of race, was tabled in the House of Assembly.

The Pensions and Gratuities Act 2007 will remove clauses which precluded some black war veterans from receiving benefits.

Medical, dental and pension benefits will be extended, while pension benefit will be doubled from $400 to $800 per month.
