Marine Police are advising all boat-owners to check on their vessels and ensure that they are properly secured to their moorings — in light of the current weather conditions.

Also, Police are reminding boat-owners that their registration numbers and Marine and Ports decals should be on display.

This will assist the Marine Police in identifying the rightful owner of a boat if it breaks free and is subsequently recovered.
