A Devonshire man found with an offensive weapon was fined after pleading guilty at Magistrates' Court.

Crown Counsel Cindy Clarke told how Police found Aaron Michael Chase, 23, with brass knuckles after searching him at the scene of a fight in St. George's.

When officers questioned him, he said he had the weapon for his own protection.

Acting Magistrate Ed Bailey fined him $750.
