A pedestrian suffered a head injury and was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital after a truck on Court Street hit her.

On Tuesday at around 10.35 a.m. Police say it appears a truck travelling east on North Street, turned onto Court Street and collided with the 51-year-old Warwick woman, as she walked on a pedestrian crossing.

She was taken to hospital via ambulance and was treated and released. Police are inquiring.
