The Visitor Information Centre located at L. F. Wade International Airport will now be self-serviced.

Guest to the Island will now be able to help themselves to any information about the Island and its attractions and all collateral will be replenished on a regular basis or as needed.

Director of Tourism, Billy Griffith said: "The contract for the previous VIC vendor at the airport expired (yesterday)."

He added that the one staff member who currently works there has been offered employment at the VIC location on Water Street in St. George's. "The employee, according to the vendor, has not voiced any objection to the move," said Mr. Griffith, who added that he had been given advanced notice.
