Man arrested in connection with shooting
A 30-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a shooting on North Shore Road in Pembroke on Wednesday night.
It appears two men on motorcycle fired a gun at another man on foot in the Crane Lane area before 9pm. There were no reported injuries.
A Police spokesman said: “Upon arrival in the area police officers arrested a 30 year old man in connection with the matter and a quantity of suspected controlled drugs was seized.
“Evidence was also found to confirm that a firearm had been discharged. An active investigation into this incident is underway.”
Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information to contact the Serious Crimes Unit on 295-0011 or the independent, confidential Crime Stoppers Bermuda hotline on 800-8477.
