Police investigate gun incident

Police are investigating a gun incident in Sandys last night.

In a statement this afternoon, a Police spokesman said: “Around 11.55pm on Monday, Police responded to a reported firearm incident in the Bridge View Lane, Sandys.

“Forensic evidence found subsequently suggested that a firearm had been discharged; however no one has reported being injured. An active investigation into this incident is underway.

“Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information to contact the Serious Crimes Unit on 295-0011. An anonymous call can also be made to the independent, confidential Crime Stoppers Bermuda hotline at 800-8477.”
