Capital G volunteers give their time to Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels got some Christmas help from Capital G staff as part of the company's holiday giving back programme.

Volunteers helped make and deliver hot lunches to Bermuda's elderly and shut in.

The company chooses a different charity each Christmas for fund-raising and volunteers. Meals on Wheels has been running since 1975 and its lunchtime visits are often a valued check-in for people who spend much of their time alone.

Capital G has also pledged to match donations made to its charitable partner, up to the amount of $5,000.

Capital G employees Whitney Mathew, Jeannie Usher and Martha Phifer keep the soup station running while volunteering at Meals on Wheels yesterday.
