New statistics on Island released

Facts and figures about the economy in 2010 have now been released by the Department of Statistics.

The Bermuda Facts and Figures pamphlet compares social, economic and geographic data in 2007 until 2009.

It also provides historical notes on the development of the Island from the 16th century to the 21st century.

A Government spokesperson said: “Bermuda Facts and Figures is an ideal pocket publication for the business executive, sports representative and conference or meeting participant who might need to share current statistical facts about the Island while attending overseas international meetings or events.

“Complimentary copies of this quick reference pamphlet can be obtained from the Ministry of Finance Headquarters, the Cabinet Office, the Bermuda Adult Library and the Visitors' Service Bureau.

“Limited hard copies are available from the Department of Statistics office on the third floor in Cedar Park Centre, Hamilton.”

Electronic copies are available from the Department of Statistics website, www.statistics.gov.bm.
