A 20-year-old man appeared in court today charged with carrying out two armed robberies this week.Curtis Mallory, of Swansville Drive, Warwick, was not required to enter a plea at Magistrates’ Court and will be dealt with in Supreme Court for the alleged offences.He is accused of attempting to rob cash from Jason DeMello and brandishing a firearm in Smith’s on Sunday. He faces the same charges in relation to an incident in Devonshire on Tuesday when the alleged victim was Alex Travasso.Mr Mallory was remanded in custody until his next court appearance on January 21.
