ACE rumours quashed
A new health club facility in the ACE insurance company building is available only to employees and their spouses.
The clarification was necessary as VSB news reported that the exempted company had opened the facility to the general public at a cost of $10 a month.
But ACE vice president for Bermuda communications Amy Shillingford was quick to quash the rumour saying she had "no idea" where VSB had gotten the story from.
"We do have a new health club at our global headquarters here but it is available only to ACE employees and their spouses," she said.
Employees who take advantage of the facility pay $25 a month and if their spouse can use it for an additional $25.
The health club features two full time fitness trainers, weights and a squash and racquetball court.
