A 23-year-old man accused of house breaking denied the offence when he appeared before Magistrates' Court yesterday.
Rashad Cooper is charged with entering the home of Sonina Simmons-Williams spelling on January 4 in order to steal.
Cooper, of Fentons Drive, Pembroke, was granted $2,000 conditional bail with a surety by Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner and will face trial on April 19.
Cooper, who who works as a skilled labourer, is subject to a 9 p.m to 5 a.m curfew under the terms of his bail.
