Breaking News: Alleged gunman shot victim three times, court hears
A man accused of attempted murder shot his victim three times at close range in the neck, chest and thigh, a Supreme Court jury heard this morning.
Quincy Brangman, 32, is alleged to have pulled up on a motorbike and opened fire on Nathan Darrell, 23, as Mr Darrell sat in his car near his home in the early hours of February 13.
Prosecutor Kirsty-Ann Kiellor explained in her opening speech that the victim managed to run to the safety of his nearby family home after the incident on Kitchener Close, Sandys. According to the prosecutor, the victim recognised the alleged shooter as Mr Brangman.
Mr Brangman denies charges of attempted murder and using a firearm to commit attempted murder.
The trial continues.
