Wedco is in talks with developers about developing the buildings behind the Clock Tower mall.

The beautiful upper level of the Clock Tower Mall is also up for grabs, said Wedco General Manager Lloyd Telford.

?We are entertaining an overture from a small international company to set their offices up there.?

Talks will continue this week.

A bridge link could link it up with the Sail Loft building behind it if the company needs to expand while Wedco could also be forced to switch its own offices from the Clock Tower to a less valuable area.

Talks are in progress with a local developer for a branded outlet at a single storey unit behind the Clock Tower while building four, behind and to the left of the Clock Tower is set to become a three floor multi-office building.

Wedco has opened discussions with Government on the plan.

?It will create another stimulus with people buying coffee and cosmetics,? said Mr. Telford who said help is needed because of the significant cost of renovation.

Building nine ? which runs parallel to the Clock Tower ? will have ten units of loft/workspace with retail space below according to Wedco?s master plan.
